Located in Fiddletown in Amador County, Chew Kee Herbal Shop was established during the Gold Rush. The store supplied groceries and other merchandise to the residents. This herbal shop and treatments by the Chinese herbal doctor represent the growing close relationships between the larger community and the Chinese.
